Trinity Ridge Fire, 2012

I was fortunate enough to spend the last couple of weeks helping with the Trinity Ridge Fire near Pine, Idaho.  I was ordered up as a helicopter crewmember (HECM), but also filled the jobs of airbase radio operator (ABRO), takeoff/landing coordinator (TOLC), and learned the basics of deck coordinator (DECK) while on the helibase.  Even though I didn't get to fly, or even see the fire, it was a great experience - I learned quite a bit and made some good friends!  Here are a few pics...
